Brown things in lingcod flesh

Caught a 27" ling near Elk and found a 3-4 strangely shaped brown masses in its flesh (along with the usual roundworms). The blue parts tasted fine, didn't try the brown. Any ideas? Different shapes and sizes, and they didn't move, so unlikely to be a parasite I think.

They are parasites. I found them many times in lingcods.
