weirdest and craziest thing people have eaten from the local waters here?  curious to see what's out there.

I've had a guy ask me if I was eating the mudsuckers I was catching for bait. He told me they were delicious in fish sauce. I'll take his word for it

   Was going to say just check BigJim's YouTube channel. At a minimum you should see things like live octopi, fresh harvested scallops, some sort of gonads, all kinds of eggs, pretty much every kind of fish, uni, abalone, etc.


However I just found an old thread 

Grossest thing I've ever eaten are sour cream, mayo and cottage cheese.   

Gimme balut, iguana, python, monkey, armadillo, bull balls, sea turtle eggs, cab belly digested abs, live octopus, ab gonads, beating fish hearts, uni, lancet fish, pig blood sausage etc any day over sour cream, mayo or cottage cheese.
