Anyone up for a recon trip at Linda Mar tomorrow - after work (around 6PM)? Hoping for Halibut or stripers.

And maybe dinner at Ono's Hawaiian Grill after  ????

Tonight

Thu
NW winds 25 to 35 kt with gusts to 45 kt. Combined seas 10 to 13 ft with a dominant swell period of 8 seconds.
Thu Night
NW winds 25 to 35 kt with gusts to 45 kt. Combined seas 10 to 12 ft.
Fri
NW winds 20 to 35 kt. Combined seas 10 to 12 ft.
Sat
NW winds 20 to 30 kt. Wind waves 4 to 7 ft. NW swell 8 to 10 ft.
Sun
NW winds 15 to 25 kt. Wind waves 3 to 6 ft. NW swell 7 to 9 ft.

Guess you could go if you want, but Ono's Hawaiian Grill might be sad that their best customer was sent to davey jones' locker by a 7ft wind wave...

I'm thinking the rockwall, oyster point, or the berkeley flats for buts and stripers.  The wind might even be horrid in the bay though if it's gusting to 45kts outside...

Joel..

I've been Kite Surfing the last two days at 3rd ave and the winds have been fierce along with the Chop being 2 to 3 feet.

You may want to hit some fresh water, portola valley would be fun. bring your yak to work and we can hit it tomorrow evening.

Let me know if you want to go.

Jd - I'm up for Portola. I'll have my yak with me.

Let me know when you kite-surf at 3rd Ave. - I'd like to see how much of a badass you are  :smt002 Maybe I can bring my striper gear and chuck a few lures at you and see if your good enough to do some evasive manuevers :smt003

What color is your sail?
