Had a rock fishing trip planned for the 4th at ft Ross, but it looks like the weather is supposed to be snotty with 10 foot swells and 25 knot winds. Is Tomales Bay for Halis  a viable option when the weather is like that, or does it also get blown out?

I check the wind forecast at Marshall, CA. Wind usually picks up (alot!) as the morning goes on. The long bay makes for some nasty wind and waves conditions.

The search function will probably turn up some discussions about Tomales wind. I think there was a thread about it recently.

Tomales can be like a lake, or a windblown nightmare!
Monday all day at Tomales for me :smt006
