Wanting to get new flooring for our main level---only about 800 ft^2, above grade, usual plywood subfloor, etc. The catch is that it's subject to wild temperature and humidity variation (think cabin in the woods, which is basically what it is). We never use any heat it at night, and heat with a pellet stove by day (thus the temp and humidity fluctuation). I don't want to spend a fortune and am willing to do some work. Any suggestions?
