True words. My mom grew up there,  but that was the 1920-1930's. Different times. So sorry to hear about all this! Wish I could afford an insert and rudder kit...  Best of luck, Jim.

Thanks Dan,,     A lot of great people here,,,   unfortunately it only takes a few to fuck it up for the rest of us.         Wouldn't hurt if we had a reactionary police force,,but these days every cop is afraid of being sued for "unnecessary roughness".

Sorry about the circumstances, Jim. Sorry to think that you won't be building these great kayaks. I shall raise an extra glass of Jameson tonight in your honor. Or, is it 5 p.m. anywhere? Cheers, Buddy.

Sorry to hear about these circumstances. You seem like you'll get through them just fine with your attitude! Wondering if any G2s left? Cousin and I considering getting new yaks.

Sorry for the late response,,,  was on the road all week  delivering the last of my inventory, train the new owner on how to rig, etc.   Really great family I got to meet out in Maryland.  They graciously invited me to stay at their farm, served up a great dinner.   I'm pretty happy with this, feel like I made a few new friends on the east coast.    Fact is, he and his brother had purchased 11 raptors over the past few years.    That's right,  ELEVEN !!!    I couldn't believe the size of his "pond" as he called it.   More like a lake !   Bass , Crappie,,,, jeeezzz wish I'd had more time.
Still,,, was a little bit of remorse inside me about selling out.   On the other hand, once I get this remodel finished............    I'm going fishing !

Now,,, in answer to your question.    Yes, there is a few kayaks left.  Not sure how long for. There's a guy who lives in Salinas... ( is this you ? )  plus a few others I've been in contact with over the past week.
I plan on being at the shop all day tomorrow  ( Thursday )  cleaning out ,  will be there most of the day.
Got one G1,  One G2,, a Blem G2 (that's only good for paddling).
Plus,,, One of the original Sit In Raptors ,, new like condition.
Also have a LOT of really rugged  floatation air bags... can be inserted into your kayaks and inflated... ( in lieu of pool noodles.)

And ,,,, for the small sum of only 6,000 dollars, you can own the " Ladyslipper".. fully rigged with Torqeedo motor.

Thanks !!!     Really appreciate that.   Ya never know if you don't try, right.

Will be there most of the day Saturday also...

Here's what I have left there.
From the left,   Sit In,, $500 as shown.  Has a cockpit cover and three floatation bags.  Used only once at the PIF  where I raced  Ravensblack to the red bouy and crushed him by a mile..  He's never forgiven me for the beating he took that day.  :smt044 :smt044

Lime green yaks is a new G2.  $900  as shown..  Paddle ready,, ( not rudder rigged )    Can be easily converted to pedal drive.
Next to that a G1,,   $750
I only have one comfort seat and seat base left  price is $100 for the set..      More are available,, just not through me.    Or the Surf to Summit Sling style seats can work too.

and,,, last but not least....  The first G1 to come out of the mold,, tested,,bloodied, drilled and spilled.  Prototype sail rigged.               Needs a "Real" set of sails fabricated for it,  " I'm a carpenter not a sail-maker " ( stating the obvious)    Has a proto-type retractable bow rudder installed.     Will cut a great deal to the right person who ,,  knows how to sail and  likes to tinker..   PM me.
