Dismantled by the Golden Warriors.   Great group of players, excellent game.

GS has a pair of league MVP quality players, and no other team can compare with that. If they keep the nucleus of the team together, they'll win another 4 or 5 championships.

Deep talent, young guys, and great chemistry.  4 or 5 is a definite possibility.

He was never a King, well maybe in his own mind.

Based purely on stats, Jordan is and will be the real king for a long time.

For all the offensive numbers he put up, his defense sucked during crunch time.  Granted he's an old guy for basketball.

Absolutely. 2 different teams to multi year finals runs, and carried one team with no upper tier talent to a finals at 22 years old. He's freakin 8-4 in taking teams on playoff runs to the finals. I think he has firmly planted himself past magic as the most versatile player to play the game and has put himself in the conversation with Jordan as the goat. However , his defense Was subpar, which is usually a result of too many minutes. Lue and Gilbert are going to have to make some moves for a better bench.

That being said, way to go warriors! Clay thompsons d was phenomenal against the best finisher in the game, and the selflessness of all those egos in that offense just shows how good Kerr is, not surprising considering his mentors were jackson and pop.
