I am considering getting the new go pro but I'm not sure if it's compatible with iPhone without the subscription service I'm interested in talking with somebody about what they use and how easy it is and compatibility likes dislikes editing sharing Etc. i've seen comments regarding android compatibility but not iOS i've seen the lightning to SD adapter....does that work well?

I have a GoPro and an iPhone...but I import the footage to my Mac and edit on there in iMovie....

Not sure if that helps or not.

Yes thanks Jim. I'm strictly a Pc based guy.  Except for my multiple iPhones and pads. So I guess I am Looking for someone that has experience in that platform. I was wanting to ask you how you get around the audio copywriting? Every time I post a thing with a song It gets rejected.  :smt013. Plus you always have great jams!!! :smt005

Trial and error on the audio...

Sucks ass when you are stoked on a song and go to publish and gets blocked and you have to pick a new one and redo it... :smt013 :smt005 :smt044

When I find a song that works, often the other songs on that album and/or by that artist will work...so I look for other tracks that I like to use in the future...

Jim

Seems theses days that publishers just run it against a Shazam type app and see if it hits.  Do you pick obscure artists from days gone by? Or newer stuff? Thanks big jim.

YouTube and Facebook are hard on the copyright material.  I import to Vimeo and share the link on Facebook if that's what you want to do.  You can use your PC with the GoPro also.  Sony Vegas if it's still around is a powerful and easy video editing software you can get on the PC.  I used the GoPro Studio for quick editing and when I want something a little more professional I use Adobe Premiere, which is expensive and more complicated to use.

Are you thinking of starting you own YouTube channel?  The "Adventures of Jello Shot Boy and Blubie"?   :smt044 :smt044 :smt044

Both...I listen to KPIG on an app on my phone and when I hear something I like I'll get it off iTunes and add it to my library and then see if it will work...so mix of new and old stuff...

For example, The Record Company and David Luning and Ryan Bingham and Gary Clark Jr and John Craigie are all pretty "new" artists whose songs seem to work for me and that I like...

But I've also used stuff from The Meters and Ray Wiley Hubbard and Leo Kotke etc and they are much "older"...

So who knows.... :smt005 :smt044

Jim

When I posted the GS Tacoshack video, I forgot about all the music being played and was surprised to see two copyright statements inserted for a couple of songs that were being monetized by the artists. I have read  that some videos will post if if you give credit to the artist(s) in the text description or in the video.

Jeff, app reviews don't look good regarding connectivity issues.
