GWS caught off kayak????

I was told by a PBer that a kayakfisherman caught a GWS during a sharkfishing tournament out of Hawia,

He said he saw this in a magazine @ barns and noble,  pacific coast or something like that, I'm @ work for 2 days and can not verify, nothing on the internet so far...... .....Danglin

The PBer didn't happen to say what month the issue was did he?
