Looks like an awesome place to fish, but at $2,000 a year it's too rich for my blood.

Indeed. I'm just lucky to have a buddy who is a member.  :smt001 There is a chance to fish the lake on June 4th in a tournament and win a 1 year membership.

I think it is funny about those bass at Kelsey on how they "break for lunch" and not bite for a few hours. Only the little dinks will during that time. I miss fishing there but down south here I have access to a bunch of private ponds that hold some real nice bass.

I have the opportunity to take veterans out on weekday trips to them with HOW and they have a blast. 30 bass mornings are the norm even if you've never fished before. I swear these bass down here in Texas don't care on how hot the temperature of the air or water is. I've fished in 93 degree heat as well as 91 degree water and still had bass chase a paddle legged frog on the surface.

You are so right on Kelsey bass taking "lunch break."  :smt081  Lake was heavily fished all morning by the event which didn't help at all. It felt like after their lunch break, they took a afternoon nap. I'm jealous. I need to go fish the south one of these days.
