GS11 - Almost geared up but could use a Radio!

Excited for GS11!!

I had a great time at the Albion Open. My good friends Tyfish, Fishtale and Dyl_the_Diver have always been really generous with letting me borrow gear to get in the water! I've been working slowly to become self sufficient in those categories so we have spare gear for new adventurers and I'm almost there!

I got a great deal on a prowler'15 from Starlifter, and have almost an entire setup but im still lacking one thing! A Radio!  If anyone has any recommendations on models, where to get one before I head up tomorrow, or has a spare one I can purchase or borrow at the event I would be truly grateful!

I'm still relatively new and lurking here on the forums, but starting to get the posts flowing! I believe this belongs on the "want to buy" but I'm unable to post there as of yet so hopefully its okay here!

Check your local West Marine, they should have something unless you can find somebody going to GS that has a loaner you can borrow.

Gonna try to get over there before they close! I had been looking on amazon at a few options but it's to late to order at this point, forgot about the local west marine.

If anyone really gets in a pinch the General Store at Shelter Cove has a couple options available at reasonable prices.
