Same price as the WS, but 2/3's the capacity?

That is what it looks like. I am thinking when I tell them how many people we have I could bring that up. It may be easier to get your hands on one of these vs the wilderness one. I haven't seen any online.

The wilderness battery should be available soon. I got one from Adventure Sports and they expect more. Be sure to read my posts on the auto shutoff feature the wilderness battery has.

 I haven't seen any online.

Most retail suppliers don't update their websites when they get product in right away. They rely on other people to do their websites. If you call places I bet they have them. I know Wilderness has ben shipping them out like crazy.

It would be good know the true capacity of these batteries they're selling. They publish 4.4ah and 10ah, but at what voltage? True capacity is published in wattage, which is Amp x Voltage. They look a bit small, and they're being vague at the true capacity.
(They are being rated to work with devices that take 12v, but that has nothing to do with the actual capacity of the battery. That 12v only refers to the voltage output of their batteries.)

This is what I've been using. It lasts for a couple 8 hour days of fishing with a Lowrance Hook5. It will be toast if it gets wet, like any lipo battery, so you definitely need a waterproof box.

And I'm pretty sure this is the box I use now. I tested it fully submerged in a bucket of water for 30 minutes with no leakage. Previously I had a Plano box fail on me and ruined a battery. Plano are not fully waterproof. Read the fine print.

I drilled through the case and installed two wire glands for the 12g 2 wire connector I use. This connector can withstand a couple years of corrosion before it will need to be replaced.

That looks pretty sweet, and cheap enough at only twice the price of a SLA, and an investment in a suitable charger.  I just got one of these for charging my car battery, I think that I can use it for that battery as well: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004LWVEKS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Something I just learned last night while researching batteries was that mah is just x1000 of ah, so a 10000mah could also be called a 10ah.

I use two of these in parallel to power my Jarvis trolling motor for 6 hrs. Or, I use a tiny 1.2 ah 3S Lipo to power my FF for 2 hrs if I really want to go light weight.
