Bodega Bay 4/13/07

Weather and Wind permitting, anyone up for a try at Bodega Bay Salmon on Friday the 13th?

If its flat I'm in.

If I can get back by Friday I'm in!  What time & where you're thinking about?

If it's not flat, you can always stop in at the lab for the DFG commission meeting regarding the MLPAs.

I usually launch from the Doran Beach ramp but I have launched off the beach next to the rock jetty.  Time will depend on what company desires, but I'm not usually a super early starter.

FT AND S 4 FT. SLIGHT CHANCE OF RAIN.

Looks like the meeting for me but if its flat I will lanch at 7am beach side of the jetty.

If you launch close to the jetty on the beach, it is usually very calm there.
I was at Fitzgerald Marine Preserve today (grade school field trip chaperone) and the swell was 8 feet and southerly (not to mention a 14-knot cold wind) which means breaking all across Doran Beach probably if that doesn't subside.

I'd be tempted to make waves atthe MPLA meeting instead
