Looks like it might be a good day, so I'm heading out. Launching from beach near old pier ~7 AM. Probably fish out towards red can.

Total skunk. And I didn't bring the crab pots because I wanted to focus on fishing. I did use the doubled T14 piece, the whole time. Sonar did not register any fish the whole day, nor did any of the several flies I tried.

But I saw 2 gray whales, numerous sea lions & sea birds. And had the usual "fun" paddle back thru all the chop by the jaws.

Early morning was FAC, but was getting choppy & swelly by noon.

I think my next ocean outing will be SWS.
