Went shore fishing with a couple of buddies at Amador today.  You know, the friends you tell about the benefits of being out on a kayak but they never seem to commit?  Anyway, we did pretty good from the bank.  They landed a couple and I limited out with the last one being my all time personal best a 6.5lbs.  (nothing compared to Mooch's Troutasaurus Rex though)  It was pretty sweet, launched out of the water a couple times and took some good runs.  All of the trout I saw were beautiful, bright and full tailed.  This place is begging to be hit with the yak, get it while it's hot.
