Hi al.  Thanks for the add.  I am 55, retired and finally hoping to be able to fish a lot more then when i was working.  I have an Old town Predator XL MK without the MK pod.  I got  a great deal on the basic kayak and since I already owned a small trolling motor opted for a cross bar to mount that trolling motor.  Works pretty good but not as nice as the MK pod.  urrently designing an adapter for the utility pod to convert it to a low cost MK pod.  I am doing this with the aid of a 3d printer.  Gotta have something for the long cold winter up here in Canada eh.

Hey Styk welcome to NCKA, my wife was born in Moncton.

I kayak fished the Tabusintac River a few years ago, my father-in-law still has a cabin on the river up there. Did they ever open the striped bass season up again? I believe it was closed when I fished it back in 2011. I did manage to find a flounder in the Tabusintac which surprised my father-in-law and his neighbors they have been fishing the river for 50 years and had never seen a flounder that far up there.

Welcome to NCKA.  You must be scouting out a warmer place to visit during your winters.  My wife keeps trying to get me to visit PEI but need to scout out kayak fishing or diving opportunities before making that trip.
