New to the board and new-ish to kayak fishing

Hi, I'm Jeff, and I'm out of DC/Oakland when I'm home with family. I've been using my kayak for crab fishing for years whenever I'm home in the Bay Area, but am looking to learn how to fish for salmon this year. I've been reading through the posts, and would be totally happy to pay for a guide while I learn the ropes/get comfortable with paddling more than a mile or two out.

I have yet to meet LoletaEric but it's obvious through his YouTube and his posts here that you couldn't find a better kayak guide.

I'm not a guide, but I do a lot of salmon fishing from my kayak here in the Bay Area. I'm sure we'll cross paths out there at some point, and I'd be happy to share some pointers that have helped me over the years.
