My racks came with truck when I bought it and I've been happy with them.

Found these kayak saddles by Malone that are made for trac-racs. Easy to take on and off,  and I can load up the kayaks like sticks of lumber without scratching. Not cheap but I feel they were worth the cost.

Congrats on the new set up.

I have option #2 on my sierra plenty of room to haul my 15' kayak plus it gives you 3 tie down points.
They is always a bigger fish to catch.

Come up to the TBKD3 in June and pre pay me for your steel I'll customize one for cost of materials and supplies. I love welding.
This is light enough to one man carry and strong enough for kayak transport. $300 abouts into this one. Also has the ability to add another tree branch to the top for two more boats.
Literally just built this one finished it yesterday.

Very nice work.
Thanks I'm still going to tweaking it some more so two boats can go on the bottom as well as being able to add another tree on top. The shop in borrowing needed the floor space so had to wrap it up and shoot it to prevent rust.
