Loaded up and made a run for the lake right after work today. On the water at 17:50, off at 20:45.
Very windy conditions tonight, the water was rough. I was hoping it would die down as time went on, but it didn't. Headed to the south east side and went into a semi-calm cove. Fishing was better than I was expecting. Caught 8 or 9 little bass and three nice ones. Largest was 18", my biggest yet this year. Most caught on a watermelon green Senko and close to the bank.

I must have a setting wrong 'cuz my camera sucks with the night pics.

Here's a few pics:

Not really sure that is Alfredo. This guy looks to be in a SOT and we all know when it comes to Rancho Seco Al loves the SIK. :smt044
Nice job Al and way to stick it out in the wind.

I think you did an amazing job of nighttime photography, especially given the windy conditions and trying to stay afloat.

This guy looks to be in a SOT and we all know when it comes to Rancho Seco Al loves the SIK.

My SIK sulks in the garage because I'm becoming more and more dependent on my SOT for its stability and multitasking capabilities. My worry is that I'll lose the muscle memory from all my paddling training. Bottom line: Keep that SIK in the water!

Ha!  Good one.  I wouldn't have tried that night in my SIK. But I got soaked on my SOT.
