Hello All,

I was referred to this site by a friend.  It looks great.  I have fished out of a kayak for large mouth bass on a few occasions with that friend, but I have yet to own a kayak.  I would like to get started in the upcoming year.  I've got the bug!  I saw pictures of said friend with halibut he caught out of his kayak.  I need to do that too!  I "accidently" caught a 10# striper in the surf while fishing for perch.  It was the first striper I have hooked in 30 years - mostly because I have been chasing other species.  But I've got the bug again!  It's time for me to get back in the salt.  I will probably be asking for pointers on purchasing my first kayak, appropriate gear, launching, etc.

Thanks for a great site!
Frank

Hello Frank! There are quite a few of here in Sonoma County, you will find us to be an active and welcoming bunch I think. Send a pm regarding a hookup, come to Crabfest in January, or just keep your eyes peeled for NCKA stickers. Looking forward to making your  acquaintance, SuperVato
