Welcome to the forum and the madness that is kayak fishing. You can find answers to most questions you could think to ask by using the search function, and if that doesn't turn up anything there are plenty of folks eager to help. Were you a fisherman before you got interested in kayaks or did they come together? What type of fishing are you into?

I've always been a fisherman! But I mostly fished from the bank or from my float tube. I'm a avid bassaholic lol!! A friend of mine got a kayak to fish from and he's so much more productive while fishing plus he's having a blast!

Welcome - lots of club members and good places to fish in your area.

Did you get a kayak yet?

Be careful - this sport is a lifelong addiction.  :smt001

No not yet I've been shopping around though! I'm trying to decide to go with new or used. I think I have what I want narrowed down lol! There are so many choices!

True - lots of options out there.

Two of the best pieces of advice you'll get about choosing a boat:

- demo as many different boats as you can; and
- if you settle for a bargain you'll just end up purchasing a better boat later.

Best of luck - I love my Malibu X-Factors.  :smt001
