I just saw this today.  No it wasn't me, but it definitely is a good job reading the regs. 

Also I just realized who Oyster Boy is. It didn't click till today. Leaving aside what smokie seems to think, I don't know everyone's name even when I "know" them. Very appropriate.

I have several of the elk silhouette decoys that fold up into a pack. California regs prohibit using a mammal decoy. Not sure if a dinosaur would qualify as a mammal or not lol.
Anything that gets you into range and a shooting solution is just another tactic that you can use to be successful. I like it.

So Ostrich  or a huge goose decoy  would work?
