We just can't catch a break in the weekend weather...this coming weekend looked doable as of yesterday, but now the wind is forecasted up to 25 kts (according to NOAA). Anyone planning on venturing out? I'd like to stay local (SC), but SWS inshore is much more protected from the northwest swell.

I was thinking SWS on Sunday.  Wanted to go on Saturday but have a B party to attend.

9 ft swell on sunday in SWS.... and it'll get quite windy. I'd pass. Saturday looks somewhat decent but I'm working.
Thresher in avatar and Soupfin Shark in signature both caught and pic taken by me.
3rd place Kayak Connection Derby, 2014

Always looking for new people to fish with!

I didn't see Sundays report yet. Thanks for update.  Maybe have to call in sick on the next nice day.  Really wanting to go out. Safety first.

SC is the plan. Looks like there is a small window of opportunity in the AM. Launching at Aldo's at 0700 and plan to be off the water by noon. Company welcome. I'll be on ch 69.

I'm planning on going too with the same plan. I'll call out on ch 69.

Well life caught up with me and I didn't make it out. Ended up going to Sand Dollar to try perch for nada. Saw Bushy there, he had already been fishing for a couple hours and said it was tough (I should have just left then). A few bites, but it was rough. The beach was not as scoured as I thought it would be.

How did you do coop?

It was a nice day. Got a few browns, baby ling and a 22" ling. I wasn't out there very long. Just long enough for dinner and some fun exercise.
