We have a lacrosse game @ Caldwell park on Sat/24 @ 1pm. The Game should be over by 4. I think that gives us time to jump in the truck and make it too Shasta, set up camp and get a little fishing in. Fish Sunday all day? What I need from my NORCAL homies is-what is the best place to camp on the south end of the Lake. I know I could spend a couple hours driving around to some spots. I'm looking for easy access. Any Help or company would be welcome.

Change of plans! I found that Whiskeytown lake is only 9 miles from the match and they have plenty of spots available. Any tips or clues would be appreciated.
