My bad... guess I was grumpy last night.

I blame winter and lack of time OTW. Wish someone would grade my yard.

More drama.
They were supposed to show up at 2PM on Monday for the install.
Jerry and Wayne showed p at 1:45. I went into work 2 hours early to be here for the installation.
Jerry and Wayne showed up at 1:45.
2:30 rolls around and they aren't here.
Long story short and after several phone calls, they aren't going to make it.
But they reschedule me for 10AM the following day.
WTF?? I have to work. Jerry and Wayne say they will be here for me....SWEET!
I come home for lunch at 10:30 to see how things are going. Jerry and Wayne are still waiting in their vehicle out front and no one is here yet.
I check my answering machine and 'Fernando' says he's waiting out front for me.
Wayne was here at 9:25 ad no one else was here yet.
So I get on the phone and send some emails. I only have 8 minutes total and have to get back to work.
Wayne gets on the phone and handles things while I'm gone.
I'm stressin' at work thinking another day is blown.
I get off work an hour early and come home.
Wayne is meeting the installers at a local retailers parking lot and will bring them here.
They show up around 2:30 and get cracking.
Jerry and Wayne stick around until the whole thing is complete.
These guys, AGAIN, saved my ass!
Now I can relax.
They both have something very cool coming their way....but it still won't be enough to repay them for all they did for me.
Everything turned out great!

Is there anything that Ski Pro-3J can't do? Although we've never met, he's helped me with a bunch of questions I've posted here.
I don't like stuff that sucks.

It was absolutely my and Wayne's pleasure to lend a hand.  FINALLY!...The tools we've had to explain to our wives we so desperately needed put to good use.  Ha!  We both have gas powered compactors, transits, and other fun toys and were thrilled to put them to use.  Good thing Tote appreciated how we just about moved in and took over 'his' project.  I'm sure he'll be a bit more discrete when he tells us about his next one.

I remembered to bring my camera this morning, so I have a few photos.  Today was construction day and the builders were to arrive by 10am.  And, they did.  They arrived at 9am.  They called and left him a voice message on his home phone.  But since he wasn't home, and doesn't carry a cell phone, he didn't know that they arrived at 9am.  When Wayne arrived at 9:25, he must have just missed them, because they weren't there.  I showed up about 9:35 and we huddled up in Wayne's rig.  I had a box of Little Debbie Oatmeal cream pies to entertain ourselves with along with some weather app on his smart phone.  Tote pulls up about 10:30 and he's FREAKING!  Ha!  We've all been there, done that; things not going according to plan.  But since Wayne and I are grumpy old men, we were slightly disappointment that we don't have the opportunity to get him 'fired up'.  He's already there all on his own.  Darn!  (Ha!)  So we do the next best thing; kill 'em with kindness and tell him we'll handle it.  Wayne gets on the phone and with his 'charm' gets hold of the right people to get the construction crew back out and on the job.
Just as the crew arrives and starts to unload their equipment, Mrs. Ski Pro shows up with a bag of Carl's Jr. grub.  It paired well with the beer Tote recommended.
Things progressed fast at this point and, within 2 hours of arrival, the crew is done!  So, here's those photos with some captions;

View from the curb, waiting for the crew.

Looking back.

Within minutes, the frame is UP!  Wow! These guys really shit-n-git.

With the construct in good hands and Tote supervising, Wayne and I take a break at the bar and enjoy our Carl's Jr. We can still see the roof, so we consider ourselves still on-the-clock.

We got cold so Tote fires up the heater and Wayne tries to order pizza since there's more beer than Carl's Jr. grub.

Checking out the view from the neighbor's point of view.  Lookin' good!

I'm back on the job here, since pizza never arrived, and manning the transit making sure the structure is plumb, level and square.

Homeless no more!  Rocky has a roof over his head.  (Not sure if Tote has named his RV yet, but I did)

This is were things started getting a little 'weird' between Tote and Rocky, so I closed the gate to give them a little privacy and left the two alone for some intimate 'bonding time', slip away and head home.
