Here is a link to the google map.

http://www.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&saddr=&daddr=alameda+park+alameda,ca&sll=37.772852,-122.28075&sspn=0.020659,0.053988&layer=&ie=UTF8&z=16&t=h&om=1&iwloc=addr

The launch is at the bottom of the page next to the football field. I think you should be able to generate directions from there. The entrance to the launch is a bit tricky, you will be coming down central and you will pass the school witht he jet fighter out front. There will be a little driveway looking street right past there on your left. That is the street you want to turn down.

Here are some more driving instructions.  From the 80 goin south: Take the alameda/jack london exit.  It will wrap you underneath the freeway to the left.  When you get to the bottom, make a right, there should be about 6 blocks on a 1 way street.  Get in the second lane from the left.  Your gonna veer slight left at the sign that says webster tunnel.  After you pass through the tunnel, check your speed to 25 mph.  Trust me.  APD dont play.  Even at 6 in the morn.  Stay on Webster until it hits central ave.  Central is the last street you can turn right on before you run into some private apartments.  There is a last chance bait shop 3 storefronts down on your right.  Central Bait.  Dude has tackle in case you forget.    Keep cruisin on.  Just like Bill said, you'll see a jetfighter on a stand in front of encinal high, make a left after the school and before the naval base.  go down, get your game on...

ride123, drifting rig consists of a 3 way swivel, a 12 inch leader for a weight, ball, torpedo, banana. (2 to 8 oz per drift speed) and  a 3 foot leader with a live bait hook.  a sliding weight rig with a 3 foot leader works also here but I prefer a 3 way swivel.  here's a link for bait fishin, the guy doesn't even mention trolling on here, in all honesty, i think trolling this time of year is the way to get 'em.

If as many people show up as have spoken up, we may be pinched for space.

Please make room for this guy! :smt006  Went to Pardee and made some bait............manage around 20 baits. However they are a little small :smt012. I had tough time using the cast net. Spent almost 3 hrs for 20 baits. I want to go watch the pros make bait but 4:30 is too early for me. Anyway, see ya there and i have bait to spare!
