A few years back I was headed northwest and saying goodbye to CA. An opportunity to buy a very interesting home and property changed my mind temporarily. Now I am back on the path to relocation.
My 6 month plan involves selling a few of my kayaks and keeping only what I can fit on my truck racks for the move.

I am selling my Cobra Strike surf boat. Asking $260.00

And my RTM Disco. Asking $700.00

Obviously the Cobra Strike is for riding waves. I have significant time surfing the YakBoard, the Hula, the Kaos, the Riot, and also the Frenzy and Mini-X in smaller doses. I enjoyed the Strike more than any other.
It really starts to perform at speed and would also be a great boat to learn on. Anyone who is intimidated by surf launches/landings may find playing in the zone in a boat like this both empowering and educational.

It is also easy to roll for those with basic kayak skills.

I have done full review on the Disco in the NCKA "RTM" section titled "faster plastic"
I have added 2 locking hatches and some conceal product for increased comfort and grip.
The Disco can also be rolled as established in the above mentioned thread and the "paddling fundamentals" thread in the safety section. (vid included)
There are some who will find this boat challenging, but with a little athleticism and some time on the water, just about anybody can find this slippery speedster enjoyable. I will miss it.

Here is a comparison of the Disco next to the Tarpon 140 and 160 for size and shape comparison.

I will sell both boats, with 1 chair that fits both and 1 set of leg straps for $900.00.
Or separate with the backband seat going with the Disco.
The boats are located in Lake Co and I am willing to meet up with a buyer in either Ukiah or Santa Rosa.

Questions regarding these boats are welcome.

hey terry, what is the max weight capacity on the strike, cameron

Cameron,
My resource has the Strike at a max of 104.3 kg.
Notice in the picture on the deck (of the hull) that there is not a lot of volume in the aft section so this boat isn't going to support very much when it's static, but when its is in its element (speed) the boat rises up and rips.

I also have a brand new skeg for the Strike that will go with the boat.

Here is a photo of the Strike on the rack for comparison.

 Regarding the RTM Disco

http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php?topic=52306.0
Ladies seem too enjoy this boat.

 vwool,
I can't blame you for asking, but the Talic racks are just too nice to part with. I recommend them without reservation. Im keeping 3 boats and a board, but after I find a place to live and figure out my storage situation, I hope to eventually need all 8 slots on the racks.
I learned last night that my plan is coming together faster than I had hoped. things just got real.

A boat like the Strike, and even the Disco, is nice when you are at the launch and conditions are too rough to fish. Just pull one of these down off the rack and enjoy some hydrology.

I understand that this isn't the best demographic for these boats, but I decided to go ahead and give it a shot.  I was hoping that there still could be NCKA members that find some interest in boats that are not primarily used for fishing.  Next Monday I'll start letting kayakers know that they are for sale. The Disco will go fast (see what I did there) but the Strike might be tougher to find it a home.

 SOLD
Both boats sold to the same buyer.
Its been a long time since my quiver has been so minimally stocked.
In the last 5 years Ive gone from 10 down to 3 and there were some very tough decisions.
It was time to get ultra-lite, for now.

you'll suffer phantom kayak pains from the dismemberment of your once-beloved boats.  Been there.  But!!! the empty shelf space will feel mighty nice after you channel Marie Kondo

Thanks for sharing that link.
In every aspect of prepping for the move, I am enjoying the simplicity of "The Cult of Tidying up".
Every aspect except the boats. I will feel better after the move when I can start filling those empty slots on the racks. The Disco was hard to watch drive away. It wasn't just about how quick it was or how light, but it was a boat that definitely separated paddler from pretender. Both of these boats are headed to southern cal and both will get a lot of time riding waves.
I had questioned my decision to sell the Disco and keeping duplicate boats.
I now have 2 Jackson Coosa.
When considering the new location and distance from other teammates that may be flying in to visit, it's the right call.
