I think I can join you. I'll confirm later.

What time do you plan on launching?

Probably launch around 7, no solid plans yet. I'm coming from Walnut Creek so I'm really just trying to avoid traffic on the way there and back.

Ended up fishing solo for my first HMB trip. Launched at HMB Kayaks at 0730 and got back in around 11. It was a beautiful day on the water and there were a lot of boats out looking for Crab. Fishing was extremely slow. I had two bites; the first one I missed because I was peeling an orange and couldn't get the rod out of the zooka tube and the second one resulted in a DONKEY cabezon, probably almost 10". Sorry that's a lie, it wasn't even close to 10". Anyway, I also caught a solid red rock crab on a plastic crawdad imitation, strange. I don't think I'll be going to HMB until some salmon show up. Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like the RF bite is generally pretty shitty in that area.

It's not the greatest place in the world but you can get a good stringer on a good day. Fish near the greend and red cans. They have some decent reefs there.
