West Marine: 12 feet for $1.55

A rope company that is distributed by the rigging company I work for $26.95 800 feet

Since I am gonna go through a lot of this (removing the promar collapsabe clips at the top and tying it together) I'm getting the 800 footer

Hey Roland,

Let me know if you want to offload some of the cord -- would be glad to help out with the cost.

Cheers,
Brad

Any idea where we can these bulk "rotten" cords online or retail?

120 rotten cotton twine is thick! I think it is overkill for what we do. You can buy slightly thinner #72 rotten cotton twine at your local hardware store, 220' for $10. I used that in my Promar modification thread.

No, unless you use 0.170" thick 236# test kite string.

cooking string is 100% cotton.  Shouldn't that comply?
