My latest kayaking and fishing trips

Hey NCKA, I have not been posting much recently so thought I would check in with a few pics from late summer and fall.
Kayak fishing has taken a back seat this year to family, but we managed to get OTW together a few times.
Fishing frequency, for me, took a pretty big hit this year, but lately I've been able to get out close to home.

One highlight this year is that my 7yr old finally took up a paddle on the front of the tandem - and loved it!
Hopefully, she will want to paddle on some upcoming warm winter days.

Been hitting the Port a lot lately, throwing the fly rod and catching the heck outta small bass and panfish, with an emphasis on small.

Got up to Almanor for Rockfish's bachelor party(helluva time!) where I sailed the Revo and got skunked trying to entice any trout to a fly.

I'll be hitting the Port and nearby lakes, Berryessa, etc. in the coming weeks as I try to add to my meager list of AOTY fish.
This year I made a promise to myself to only enter fly rod caught fish, just to challenge myself to get better at fly fishing.

Great to see you have still been getting on the water. Just think one day Olivia and Ari will be fishing next to us in their own kayak.

Right on Tony...glad you were able to get out and fish! 

Might be hitting the delta next weekend with the guys for striper and largies.  You're more than welcome to join us.
