 Friday was a good start, I left the house before 0530 and had myself and OOSickness loaded up and leaving by 0600. We headed across town (Los Banos) to meet up with Sarge. Left town around 0600. Traffic was crazy all the way to Monterey. We were on the water around 0800. The water still shows signs of THE RED TIDE with a some foamy stuff close to shore. The weather was awesome, warm and sunny. Fishing was on the slow side as the water was dark. Later in the day the fog rolled in and the temperature dropped. The sun would pop out from time to time and then the fog would take over again. We ended the day with almost a limit of rock cod between the three of us. We left for Los Banos around 1600 and met traffic as soon as we got the highway. It was stop and go for the next five hours. A big rig did a roll over and caught fire on the Pacheco Pass near the fire station in the west bound lane. We got home around 2100! Still better than work!

Just got back from the bay. 1 red and a 1 ling. Nothing else. Wind was crazy and I couldn't hold a spot to save my life. Red tide still in but not too bad at depth. Seemed worse at shore.
