D-dam/newbie

I took the girl friend out for her first yak fishing trip. Started to troll to the back of the lake withcast masters. 1/2 hr into the troll she stated, she had a snag? It was her first trout. After another 45min with no bites it was lunch/nap time, started fishing again about 2:30, and the Bass bite was unbelievable. The water was clear and we could see Bass everywhere. Kept 2 released all the others,(6) then we headed up the lake to find some crappie. Got to the back of the lake into the trees, and were able to see crappie swimming there too. Went back further into the trees just to do a little exploring. We kept hearing splashes as we paddled, the branches sticking out of the water were thick with Turtles sunning them self's. On the way back out we stopped for some crappie fishing, caught 1 with the first cast (crappie jig) It was the biggest 1 I've ever caught. At first I thought it was a bass, it jumped out of the water. Another 20min of jigging and no more bites, it was getting late so time to head in about 6pm.

Los Banos Creek Reservoir.   Craigh,  I could tell by just looking at the pics.  I have not been there in a while.  It is my back-up plan when O'neills Forebay is blowing.
