The results of the 2016 Pacific Coast Championship spearfishing competition were posted last night, and NCKA member and DOTY competitor Deke Jacobsen took first place with a 102.34 pound stringer!!

Deke also had the largest fish at the completion, a 23.75 pound monster male sheephead!!

Deke's team, Coldwater Killers, comprised of two other NCKA members and DOTY competitors (Parviz Boostani and Thomas Watanapun) took first place in the Team competition as well with a combined weight of 228.38 pounds!!!

NCKA member IceCold Charles Lakamp got third place individual and his team the Bad Buoys (with LiveAloha Kris Cortez and Aaron TheFlyingDutchman Sturtevant) got third place as well!!

Adam415 competed by himself as the Lone Ranger and brought in 82.79 pounds of fish, which got 4th place individual and 7th place in the Team comp!!

Rick came in 9th individual with 52.55 pounds and his team came in 4th.

Kathy (soleman's better half) was the top scoring woman (19th overall and 6th place team)  with 30.89 pounds that included a NICE 18.2 pound personal best Lingcod!!!

Huge congrats to ALL who competed!! Pretty awesome to see NCKA/DOTY divers doing so well in these competitions!!
