I have had pretty good luck so far at SC . ( Crossing my fingers )

I cant say the same for Quarry though. I have had my butt kicked there a few times and did not pass inspection on one occasion.

Nice write up, really built the suspense well.

Guess it's almost that time of year, may give trolling the local lakes a try. Never paddled Chabot or even been to Del Valle but would like to give the larger lakes a shot.

Both good fishing lakes. Haven't unlocked del valle's secrets yet. There are some great species in there. Use to drive through Chabot golf course and park at the end and walk down the hill from there. Pulled some nice trout from shore. Some great places would like to try kayaking there.

Post a hookup if your headed out. I usually fish thurs/fri.

Looking forward to hopefully a few more trout outings this year than last.
