crab deckhand wanted

Dungeness is just around the corner and I'm looking for a box person. That means you would be the 3rd crew member.

It's a tough job. You need to be able to be able to stack 100 lb wet crab pots 6 high solo. You will work for approximately 2 weeks getting gear ready without being paid. You will work for a percentage off catch. Percent depends on experience and ability. A small percentage(around 15% of your share) will be withheld until completion of the season.
I'm not going to buy your commercial licence. I'm not going to buy you foul weather gear and I'm not buying a ticket to get here.
After the first week you can expect 4 hrs of sleep every 24. You'll probably get some, but don't expect much sleep for the first week.
Commercial fishing is the most dangerous occupation in the United States. Crabbing is the most dangerous fishery and Dungeness is the most dangerous crab fishery. This is no joke. This gig sux, but is an opportunity to get into a lucrative fishery.

God I would be all over this if i didn't have a job. It's like living out my dream to be on the deadliest catch, but in California, with cpt sharky yelling at me for being so green. hahaha.

Seems like an awesome gig for someone with the time and love of crabbing in the ocean!

Hope the Demoic Acid doesn't shut down our season this year, I'm ready to get me some delicious crabbies!
