DIY Fishfinder sun-screen

I got the plastic from All Star Plastics in Rancho Cordova for free. It took 5 minutes a heat gun and some double sided tape.

Another thing which makes it easier to view your fishfinder's screen is to clean it off.  I was having a tough time viewing my fishfinder's screen because it had a lot of deposits on it from dried water drops, fish slime, and whatnot, which produced a lot of reflections.  I finally cleaned the screen, first with Windex and then with a little vinegar, and wow, what an improvement!  I've gotten religious about cleaning my fishfinder's screen regularly.
