I don't know if Windrider went or not, but I know there's a small craft advisory today through tomorrow evening.  The swell isn't too high though, so if he's there he should be able to get out to the Bell at least.  This weekend's looking nice, but I'm pretty sure I don't have the WAF to go...  I might as well wait the two weeks until Ab season opens...

I hope to be out there at 2:00 PM tomorrow if Abking will be there.

So it looks like the verdict is yes, Abking and I are going to meet at Shelter Cove between 1 and 2 tomorrow.
I made a practice run yesterday out of Russian Gulch and the wind was pushing me too much for comfort. By the time I rigged up and cut an anchovy I had drifted the distance of the cove mouth. I doubt that we will stay out long if the wind is still blowing but we are going to give it a try.

How does this years opener compare with last year? As you know, we caught just about squat down here last year. An epic year would be nice this time, 30-40 LBrs right off Bolinas. What do you think, Blue?
