Brother Jay and nephew Chad were planning on a MONDAY trip to Lake Chabot for their first "together launch" ,so I had to go too!!
I got there at 8am and went straight to the island for a small LMB on the Senko(no pic). Then off to troll up a TROUT.....which I did,but it was only ~trouser-size~ :smt003
so now it is time to start the SENKO tossin' into the tullies.I had two on,and they were off just as fast(only taking 1/2 the 7"Snakeo')must have been smaller ones.
PIC#1 can u see the winged fish-hunter

PIC#2 Bro was tossing a naked live-crawler~weedless into sone fallen trees and pulled this CAT up.

Pics of GOOFin' OFF No fish were cooperating so we paddled to shore to eat and go over our next "plan of ATTACK"
He says he could do that all day.

We trolled more and then went to the shoreline LEFT of the island.Lots of trees and steep-drops.my bro keeps throwin the L-crawlers and got a nice one that freed himself before he could get his thumb into its mouth.
I saw this tree next to a steep cliff...tossed into it and had one on/off!....#$#$% I muttered, then flipped it again......FISH ON/OFF!!....I am in FULL FRUSTRATION MODE now, turned to GhostPaddler and said,"THREE STRIKES andYOUR OUT!",one more flip....GOT IT!! PIC#7 15" ......then my bro paddles over and gets one too.(i think it's the same one)

Stayed till 5pm NO WIND ALL DAY!

This was the THIRD lake in THREE DAYS for me and now I'm back at work, planning for this week end...life is tough!GO FISH!

Adam... I like how you brought your nephew into the kayak fishing and now your bro.   Looks like you're all excellent fishermen :smt038

Took the words right outta my mouth :smt044
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.
