Just got back from the Antique Fishing Gear and Duck Decoy Show at Santa Rosa Vets Building. Great show this year lot of memories if you can go it's gone after today. I'll post some pictures later. Cool custom stuff also.

There was a guy there who customizes Shad Raps he glues thin pieces of lead to the undersde of the bill. He said it doubles the depth, I picked up a few to try them out only 3 bucks.

All most every thing was for sale and a lot of trading going on.

There was also a guy who buys older Fenwick fibreglass rods and fixes them up . I have been looking for a FS88C for salmon trolling and mooching. He buys them and shortens them to make them a little stiffer and a shorter butte ala JM they felt great so I picked up 2 for $75. Little shorter than I wanted but they feel really nice. Didn't think I would like the shorter butte but it feels really nice. Fore grip 4" Seat 5" bottom grip 9" for a 18" total.
