Hey All,

I am considering fishing Timber Cove / Fort Ross CA this weekend for some bottomfish, but had a couple of questions.  The weather appears to be predicting fairly high winds (15-25 MPH) on Sunday and Monday as well as a moderate swell (5-6 ft).  Are there sheltered locations around the Timber Cove area that still allow for a decent chance of catching a few rockfish or some lings?  I have not been to this part of the coast before and do not know the water depth in the Fort Ross or Timber Coves.

Cheers,
Rabidsquire

I would advise you not to fish there this weekend.  Weather forecast is too nasty with a Small Craft Advisory.
