Before I was homeless I had been a private investigator.  One of my jobs was to follow this ladys cat around because she suspected he was involved in something fishy.  At first I thought she was off her rocker, and this wasn't just a hunch, there were rocking chairs everywhere in her house and not a single regular chair, yet she only sat on a ratty old chaise.  About the cat though, this big tomcat had attitude and whacked at my legs whenever he saw me which made the client meetings difficult to say the least and following him even harder.  I would show up every evening an hour before dark and watch for him to leave from my little red Fierro, then I would slowly follow him down the street.  The first few days seemed normal, just a cat checking the neighborhood, fighting here and there and banging any queens he could.  Then one day I watched a grey sedan drive up and open the door, he jumped straight in and off they went.  Through town, over a bridge and out into the country they went.  Eventually they stopped at a dilapidated old shed....

While the shed itself was unimpressive, it contained a plastic armada of pristine candy colored kayaks that popped against their dull grey housing.

This shed belonged to Racin "two sheds" Rob. Rob's wife, a veterinarian walked out to greet the occupants of the grey sedan. Rob looked on from his other shed as he pre-tied his leaders for tomorrow's fishing trip "This time I'll outfish that punk" ....................

All,

Thanks all for the warm welcome.

BT

Sailfish,

I once wrestled an alligator while drinking whiskey and smoking a cigar. The gator took my favorite lure so I poked in him in the eye.  At which point he bit my arm and relinquished my lure.

Moral of the story: Don't spill your whiskey while wrestling gators.

Experience given, you're welcome!

"This time I'll outfish that punk Rider."  It had been years since Racin felt this way.  Was it that time of the month?  Or perhaps he felt uneasy about the WS kayak he paddled?  The reality is that Racin learned from the best, and the best always had a saying, "Never trust a man with a pierced ear."

You see, Rider, as he was known across the kayak fishing community, had his ears pierced at at early age, back in the time when he questioned everything, including his ...

Thanks for clarifying.....all I seen was a story about bums, none of which was drunk.....I never trust an undrunk bum.  This guy's alright.
