Looking for a set up that I can use for lingcod, salmon, halibut etc. Med or med hvy rod (trevala or similar) with a left hand retrieve round baitcast reel.

I just bought a Trevala 6'6 Medium, Medium Fast, and picked it up today, can't wait to try it out tommorow. I got it for all the fish you mentioned, using a bait cast reel and 30lb braid! Good luck!

What's your budget?I got a 7'6" tirelejo  (new) and a used abu s round 6601
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it
