Hey there.  Newbie here and looking to get more involved.  I'm planning to head out to the Port of Sac or maybe even Liberty Island/Shag Slough on Sunday morning. Anybody else going out or thinking about going out?  Probably be my Dad and I.

I'll be fishing the port but in the evening around 5-6pm. I'll be in a yellow Hobie Pro Angler.

I fished the port today.  19 bass to the boat largest going 15 inches.  4 fish were smaller than the lure.  Whopper Plopper in "I know it" color.  Found the fish not around the rip rap but rather around tules and dirt shoreline.  Good luck if you go Must Fish.

Did make it out.  We were on the water around 7am and fished til like 1pm.  Only caught 7 black bass with the biggest going 12 inches.  Most were caught on drop shot.  I guess not bad for my first time out there but felt bad for my dad as he caught zero.  We only made it out to just barely past that first ship. Most of my fish were caught near the bridge.
