Accidental beauty

I was cleaning a few ab shells with muriatic acid the other day and thought I'd dip a couple tiny shells in to give them a nice sheen. They were in for a minute too long but check out what happened! Most of the red outer layer dissolved away leaving nothing but mother of pearl. They're paper thin and translucent. Some of my best work.
