Hey Guys,

I'm scrapping the downrigger idea... for now.  I figure I'll fish the first half of the season with divers and see how that goes.  What size divers are you using?  Do you typically go for the larger sizes and then use less line if you want to keep them shallow, or do the larger sizes add too much drag for the kayak?

Thanks,

I have seen the smallest deep six used with big trout flashers by tim at lindamar.
that might only go 30 or 40 feet deep max?

I tried the mid-size deep six and double deep six and those went pretty darn deep
with 20lb spectra.  like 100 feet easy.

the drag seemed similar whether it was a diver or big ball to me.
