Apparently there are a bunch of squid boats working off Lighthouse Point in Santa Cruz.

You know what that means!

Yesterday there were a bunch right off RDM, a few less off Capitola, and even fewer off lighthouse.

Yesterday a 10' landlord buzzed my buddies boat. Between the mile bouy and the warf.

They were working squid about a month ago, in Monterey, but haven't heard of a big WSB bite following. Fingers crossed, maybe the cold water is keeping them off.
