Hello Everyone,
I would like to know if any of you guys know any access points closer to Twin Cities road part of Snodgrass Slough. Or any on the Lost Slough. I know about the Delta Meadows Launch And Whimpy's Marina. Its a paddle to get there and I would like to spend more time fishing then paddling. Thanks!

I've always wanted to try getting there from the CRP. Might have to try during the high tide.

Only Problem Is That Consumes Preserve is open from 9 to 5 and the gates close. Is there parking somewhere else there?

Supposedly the launch to the north side of the Cross Channel Gates in Walnut Grove is open.  You can get to Snodgrass from there.  Take gravel road behind closed propane outfit, bear left.  Launch, then park car out by the gates NOT at the launch.  This was discussed in earlier post. Deltayakr may know more.
On another note, am launching CRP tomorrow,  and ending at my trailer 3 miles south of Walnut Grove.  Spotties, smallies with be target.

That is the Delta Meadows launch correct. I thought the gate for vehicles was locked, and you has to haul your kayak a good distance to get there. I also launched at CPR on Saturday, targeting Largies. Did pretty well out there.
