Don't understand why you felt the need to remove the text from your post. Now we have (another) post where anyone interested wonders what your questions were.

Really ?  If you saw the original question and then the responses, I think Action did a good job of removing himself from the issue that his post turned into which had little to nothing to do with his question.

Yes. Really. Posts get threadjacked occasionally but the questions are still there. Anyone reading the thread has the choice of ignoring the threadjack posts and replying to the original post.

There are two schools of thought.

1.  The posts belong to the person who make it, and they are free to do whatever they want with it.

2.  The posts belong to the community, and should never be altered or deleted once there has been a response, except as necessary as determined by a moderator.

Both are reasonable, neither one is wrong, and to date NCKA has subscribed to the first one.  It's your post, do whatever you want with it up to and including deleting it even after it has generated discussion (whether or not the discussion went in a direction you wanted it to go).
