If I remember correctly, years ago, some kid caught a piranha in Steven Creek....at least that's what everyone thought......the locals were in panic mode until they got a Marine Biologist to verify that the fish was actually a pacu  :smt011

Wouldn't it be weird to pull up one of those out of a reservoir. I dint think that fish could survive the water temp's in the winter up here. But I here that piranha are tastie and good bait for payara.

those carp do look strangely big but in europe where my wife is from, slovakia, the fishermen do fish for huge carp especially around christmas time since its tradition to eat carp for christmas. the carp i have seen there swimming in canals and ponds are just unbelievably large.

do you think the man in the photo is a little person maybe and the carp is about 15 inches long?
