So I been interested in these two models don't one which would suite my needs better. Ill be wanting to use them for ocean, rivers, lakes etc. What I don't knw is if the ultimate fx is fit for the ocean. Its categorized as a sit in and what worries me is water getting in and not being able to exit out like sit on top with scupper holes. I know bilge pumps and or shammy (don't know how to spell it lol) is to be used. I have tried both but I should flipped both and tried to self rescue on them during the demo. Does anyone own and have any experiences with them yet? I know its still a little new but just seeing if anyone has them. Thanks guys!

The FX13 propel is definitely not suited for the ocean as a non bailing design.  While I could see a bilge pump potentially working, I think that it would be too much risk.  I would highly recommend the SP13 if you were to use the kayak for the ocean or any rough conditions.

Let me know if you have any other questions, I'll be happy to answer them.

Thanks Ben and that's what I figured seemed it would be riskier just by thinking abt it.
